Interaction with Oz Mobile SDK in iOS
The Oz Mobile SDK for iOS represents the Software Developer’s Kit of the Oz Forensics system, offering smooth integration with customers’ mobile applications for Liveness and Face Matching purposes.
With the iOS SDK, you can incorporate Liveness and Face Matching analyses to your mobile applications either in server-based or on-device modes, depending on your requirements, or combine these modes to leverage their advantages together in the hybrid mode. The server-based mode is the more common approach, where media is sent to a server for analysis by models. The on-device mode enables analyses to be processed directly on the device, but has certain limitations. For further details, please consult our documentation. The hybrid mode combines the benefits of both modes to deliver the most accurate results possible while saving time and computational resources. Here, we explain how it functions.
To get started with the Oz iOS SDK, follow the steps outlined in our documentation:
- Integrate the Oz iOS SDK into your project, as explained in this article.
- Obtain a trial license for the SDK from our website or request a production license via email. License requires the bundle ID of your application. Add the license to your project according to the instructions provided here.
- Establish a connection between the SDK and the API, as detailed in this article. This step is optional and only necessary if you need to process data on a server. If you’re using the on-device mode, no data is transferred, and no connection is required.
- Capture videos by creating the controller as instructed here. You’ll send them for analysis afterward.
- Upload and analyze the media captured in the previous step. The process of checking liveness and face biometry is outlined in this article.
- If you wish to customize the appearance of the Oz iOS SDK, please refer to this section.
You can find the sample app source code using the Oz Liveness SDK in our repository.
